RIG
RAT II
The
stainless steel RIG RAT II is state-of-the-art in gas detection,
detecting for combustibles, toxics and/or oxygen hazards. With
independent wireless radio signal transmission the self-powered,
solar capable detectors provide the ultimate in flexibility and
versatility.
Rig
Rat II is totally modular in design with plug-in ports for
all field interfaces: remote sensors, remote alarms, relays,
solar power, etc.
Microprocessor
based operation and forefront sensor technology assures
reliability and performance.
Eliminate
Signal and Power Lines:
Signals are transmitted
via coded radio channels and each unit in the system is
independently powered. Cut installation costs up to 75% by
eliminating the cost of cabling, wiring, conduit and trenching.
System components, Detectors, Sensors, Controllers, Remote
Alarms, Relays, etc. are all independent of signal and power
lines.

Field
Tough:
Rig
Rat
II provides field proven performance in extreme conditions from
the arctic to the desert.
Easy
Installation:
Installed
and operating by your field personnel in approximately 30 minutes.
Equipped with a rugged weatherproof stainless steel
enclosure and built-in mounting flanges, simply mount the
Detector to the wall and supply power.
Facility
Monitoring: Multi-point
systems can be expanded to 1000 or more individual monitoring
points with each Detector coded to a separate channel.
Perimeter
Monitoring: Provides
the most cost-effective solution to perimeter monitoring.
Portable
Monitoring: The only
portable, multi-point monitoring system in the world.
Field-proven on mobile work sites such as drilling/service rigs
and disaster response teams.
Detector
Sub-Site Controller:
The
Detector may activate remote relays and a solenoid driver to
control Emergency Shutdown Devices (ESD), building ventilation
systems and other field interfaces plus remote audible/visual
alarms.
